Our Curriculum

What is 3K?

3-K for All brings free, full-day, high-quality early education in a school setting, daycare or a center based. The 3k follows a curriculum which is called "The Creative Curriculum" It's a play-based curriculum that encourages children to explore materials and learn together with their families and teachers.

The curriculum includes: 

  • Routines and community: Activities that start with routines and help children learn about the classroom community 

  • Abstract ideas: As the year progresses, children learn more abstract ideas 

  • Centers: Children spend a large part of the day in work areas, such as the art center, library, and water and sand tables 

  • Outdoor play: Children play outside as part of their daily routine 

  • Meals and snacks: Children eat lunch and snacks as part of their daily routine 

  • Naps: Children take naps as part of their daily routine
