Activities and lessons should be tailored to the specific developmental needs of Pre-K children, focusing on essential skills like letter recognition, counting, basic math concepts, language development, and social interaction.

Qualified and caring teachers

Staff are well-trained in early childhood education, patient, supportive, and actively engage children in learning through positive interactions.

Positive classroom environment

A welcoming and organized space with various learning centers like a block area, dramatic play corner, art center, library, and outdoor play area that encourages exploration and creativity.

Balanced learning approaches

A mix of teacher-led activities, small group work, independent play, and large group activities to cater to different learning styles.

Focus on social-emotional development

Opportunities for children to practice sharing, taking turns, resolving conflicts, and expressing emotions appropriately.

Outdoor play

Regular access to an outdoor space for physical activity, exploration, and nature-based learning.

Parent involvement

Open communication with parents using Brightwheel, regular updates on children's progress, and opportunities for family engagement in the learning process.

Our Curriculum

At Fundamental Daycare, we believe Pre-K should be more than just play. While play-based learning is essential, we also focus on early literacy, numeracy, and fine motor skill development to ensure every child is prepared for kindergarten success.

Why This Approach?

Unlike many standard Pre-K programs, Fundamental Daycare ensures children are actively learning, writing, and recognizing numbers and letters at an earlier stage. By combining structured learning with play-based activities, we bridge the gap between Pre-K and Kindergarten, so children start school ahead of the curve—not behind.

At Fundamental Daycare, we don’t wait for kindergarten to introduce essential skills—our children start learning early, in a way that’s engaging, fun, and developmentally appropriate!
